The Role
Reporting to the Head, Northern Europe the Business Development Manager will be responsible for building new relationships and grow the business of our Client in Denmark.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing the account sales strategy and plan including all related execution. He/she will also build long-term relationship with the customers and position our Client as a trustworthy, cost efficient and reliable partner.
Location is Copenhagen.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is first and foremost a successful Account Executive, Sales Manager or Key Account Manager with the energy and drive to positively impact and grow our Client’s business in the region. The ideal candidate is a business oriented and customer focused individual with extensive business development experience, building and executing engagement strategies and creating partnerships with global companies.
The person must have the necessary experience to create a value proposition and present our Client’s service offerings to the prospects.
The person has an Engineering and / or MBA background, with at least 6-7 years of Sales & Account Management experience in IT services field. Furthermore, this individual must be able to build and sustain successful business relationships.
The candidate profile will meet the following qualifications:
• Has had responsibilities of managing Global Key accounts with at least annual $4-8 mil revenue
• Should have a track record in selling to large, global complex organizations (matrix) is key, as this person will act as the single point of contact
• Handled CxO level relationships
• Ability to build relationships & champions within customers
• Should be an able hunter & farmer
• Must be results oriented, hands-on, down to earth, and someone who ‘gets things done’. He/she defines and executes on actionable plans and drives issues to closure
• Should be able to handle 360 degree relationships with all the stakeholders in the company ( Finance, Engineering, Pre-sales, HR)
• Should understand the complete Onsite/Offshore Eco-system
• Should understand the intra-country cultural aspects, nuances of working in the Nordics region
• He/she is a self starter who acts quickly to seize opportunities
• Should be able to handle business transactions fluently in Scandinavian Languages & English.
