Client:
Our Client a large international IT consultancy is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager for their Office in Germany.
Job Description for the Position :
Open up new accounts in Germany Drive Account opening strategies. Develop, track and drive opportunities through the Sales life cycle with the operating groups Scope out with the operating groups and domain leads effective client projects Respond to tender/RFP requests Identify potential leads independently (or with others) through networking & user circles. Develop relationships with potential buyers in the chosen Accounts. Generate client awareness and preference for the company and/or its services. Identify specific sales opportunities within Account/or targets. Support/participate in any oral proposal activities, review written proposals. The ideal candidate is a business development manager who can demonstrate an understanding of consulting and services business and is able to identify, qualify and scope an engagement. In addition to consulting sales experience, the ideal candidate would have sector skills as given below. Retail/Manufacturing/Logistics/ Automotive Sector experience demonstrating an understanding of key drivers in this sector will be desirable.
Skills, Experience and Qualification Required for the Position :
Min. 8- 10+ years in Sales and Business Development in an IT Services environment Aggressive go getter with a passion for Hunting in an unstructured environment. Should have handled business in range of Euro 5-10 Mio annually in his earlier assignment. Will be responsible for generating over Euro 5 -10 Mio of Revenues annually. ( to start with) Excellent Knowledge of German & English (written and spoken) Strong IT services selling experience and preferably with Offshore outsourcing experience. Experience developing written proposals, presentations, and unique propositions Excellent written and oral communication skills, Comfortable interacting with C-level executives
